Happy Friday!! Hope you had a great week! I can’t believe our first week of Whole30 is almost over. You’ve probably noticed from the meals I’ve been posting, that we’re not doing a whole lot different this time except we’re not eating as many sweet potatoes. I don’t think there were many days during our first round that we didn’t have a sweet potato for breakfast or dinner and this time we’ve decided to limit it to a couple/few times a week. So far I don’t think either of us has been missing them too much.
One thing I notice when I’m eating this way is I’m not as thirsty. I normally drink at least 100 oz. of water a day and this week, I’ve actually had to think about getting more water in.
Since it’s hot out and we recently bought a new blender, I’ve been wanting a smoothie but that’s technically against the rules during Whole30. Oh well, I can wait until July.
2 fried eggs, homemade breakfast sausage, avocado and a mix of strawberries and banana.
Taco Rice Stuffed Acorn Squash – This is the second time we’ve had this. It’s yummy!
Once again, we had a break from the rain when I got home from work, so we went for a walk before dinner.
The bugs are bad because of all the rain we’ve been getting but we keep forgetting to put bug spray on before we leave the house. One of these days we will learn.
Especially on this trail that’s surrounded by trees.
I haven’t been listening to music when I run/walk lately since Dane is with me but I’ve been loving this song!
If you haven’t heard it yet, it’s quite catchy and makes you want to get up and dance!
