Last weekend, Kim, Teri and I stopped in at our favorite nail place in town (Luscious Nails) to get a manicure and pedicure but they were extremely busy. Instead of waiting, we decided to go to another place called Nails Time in Ormond Beach.
We all had a horrible experience that resulted in our shellac manicure’s chipping after only one day. By Monday we had chips on several nails. The shellac (gel) polish is supposed to last for weeks with no chipping. We attempted to get our money back but Nails Time only offered to fix our nails which we refused.
I had my acrylic nails taken off to get the shellac but they ended up using the wrong kind of gel polish so my nails were even thinner than before. Yesterday I went back to Luscious Nails with my sisters and decided to put the acrylics back on for now.
I almost always pick some form of red but yesterday I decided to try something completely different.
I had the polish on my toes changed to match.
Yesterday evening we went our friend Chad and Becca’s for game night. Chad used to play on Dane’s softball team but he isn’t able to play anymore due to a schedule change at work. It was good to see everyone again.
