Yesterday was my first day without coffee. Once I got to work, I had a little bit of a headache but I didn’t think much of it. As the morning went on, it got worse and by lunch time I couldn’t even eat. I drank half a cup of tea and ended up going out to my car to lay down for awhile.
After laying down for awhile, I felt better and was able to eat my lunch.
Eventually, I’d like to not be dependent on caffeine at all but going cold turkey was a little rough. Not sure if today will be as bad but I may have a little bit of tea again if I need it.
Same exact thing as yesterday. Next time I’m going to add more kale – I really love the taste!

Crockpot chicken made with green salsa, zucchini, carrots and roasted plantains. Remember the last time we made roasted plantains I said they were super sweet? These were not like that at all and we’re thinking it’s because the plantain wasn’t ripe. Dane just bought this one yesterday and last time we used one that had been sitting on the counter for at least a week.
Before we ate dinner, Dane set his softball shirt on the table. Of course Teagan assumed it was put there just for him.
