Dane and I made another trip to the Farmers Market yesterday to stock up on fruits and veggies for the week. I just love how colorful everything is.
Before we went to the Farmers Market we had breakfast and I actually cooked!
Tilapia, sweet potato latke, eggs scrambled with onion, green pepper & spinach along with an orange and blackberries. Yes, I know fish for breakfast sounds weird but it was really good. I ended up mixing my fish and eggs together.
Lunch was a Buffalo Shrimp Salad
We made buffalo sauce using Frank’s Hot Sauce and ghee (clarified butter) and Dane made some ranch dressing using the homemade mayo that we had.
Dinner was burgers without the bun of course.
We tried to make the sweet potato fries crispy but it didn’t really work. We baked them for 15 minutes at 350 and then transferred them to a frying pan in some coconut oil. Very tasty but not crispy.
Even though our Whole30 will technically be done on Tuesday, we did our shopping for the week just like we have been. I plan to continue posting my food even when we’re done since I’ve been on such a roll. If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you know I change my mind a lot but as of now, I’m not really planning on changing a whole lot in regards to how I’m eating. I’ve mentioned before that it will be nice to have a glass of wine once in awhile. That’s probably the one thing I’ve been thinking about most.
I know all you care about is how much weight we’ve lost, right? A few more days and we all will know!
