Two weeks down!! Can you believe it? I’m sure you’re thinking – Yes, it feels like you’ve been talking about Whole30 for a lot longer than that. :)
You know when you try something new and you end up feeling really good about it? You want to tell the world about it. You want everyone to get the same feeling you have. If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you know that I’ve experimented quite a bit. Weight Watchers (several times), low carb, no meat, tracking on MyFitnessPal and I’m sure there are more I’m forgetting about.
Eating this way has made me feel really good. Here are a few things I’m noticing at the half way point.
Those are just some of the things that come to mind. Basically, I’m feeling really good and can’t wait to see what the next 2 weeks have in store for us.
After breakfast, Dane and I spent the majority of the morning cleaning the house.
Leftover burger with onions & mushrooms, avocado, brussels sprouts slaw and jicama. This was my first time trying jicama and it was pretty good. If you haven’t had it before the texture is similar to a raw potato but it has a touch of sweetness.
After lunch, I met Kim at the gym for arms day.
We also had a side salad.
Day 14 down – 16 to go! You can find all of my Whole30 posts here.
