Sweaty Saturday

Good afternoon!  I can’t believe it’s 3:00pm already!  I’ve accomplished a lot, though, so that’s a good thing.  More on that in a minute.  Last night Dane and I went out for sushi with a couple of friends.  I had a Health Garden Roll.  I can’t remember exactly what was in it, but it was SO good.

After dinner we went to a local bar that we used to hang out at all of the time when we first started dating.  I drank water all night – so proud of myself.  I knew I wanted to get up and go to Group Power class this morning.  I went and I felt so much better than Wednesday.

Before class I had a small low carb wrap with almond butter and after class I made myself a smoothie.

In the mix:

1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
2 cups fresh baby spinach
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp almond butter

After catching up on blogs and relaxing for a bit, I decided to get on the treadmill.  I ended up walking almost 5 miles.

I was sweating my butt off but I’m not sure how accurate my HRM is.  While I walked I watched Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.  Do you remember that movie?!

After a much needed shower, I made myself a salad with a crumbled veggie burger on top.  So good!

Time to relax for a bit.  Wrigley got a head start.

We’re going to dinner with my sister’s and their boyfriends tonight.  Have a great night!  :)

    Yummy sushi! Glad to hear that you had a great work out!! I was in class all day BOO! sitting on my butt! I thought you had a Garmin…I am planning on getting one when I reach my goal weight. Did you like yours? Any problems?

      I do have a Garmin, but I don’t have the foot pod to use it indoors, so I wanted the HRM for that. A friend of mine that wasn’t using it anymore sent it to me.

      I really do like my Garmin, though. I recommend it if you do a lot of running outside.
