Weight Loss Challenge

Good Morning and Happy Friday!  :)  I’m so excited to tell you about a weight loss challenge that’s starting on Monday but more on that in a minute.   We don’t have anything major planned this weekend which is actually kind of nice.  I’ve been wanting to try a class at the gym for some time now, but I’ve been a big chicken.  It’s called Group Power and I’m pretty sure it’s similar to Body Pump.  The class description on my gyms website: Discover results and strengthen all your major muscles with this 60-minute, barbell program choreographed to fantastic music.  Group Power® is a great functional fitness workout for all ages and fitness levels.  There’s a class at 8:00am on Saturday.  I need to just suck it up and check it out.

I had to head to Downtown Jacksonville yesterday afternoon to have my thyroid levels checked again.  Lucky me, I got to drive right into this.

It ended up pouring right after I took this picture and continued until I pulled into the parking lot of my doctors office.

I probably won’t have my results until next week some time.

Dane had a softball game last night.  I couldn’t find anything at the house I wanted to eat, so we stopped at Love Whole Foods on the way.  He doesn’t like to eat until after he plays but I can’t wait until 11:00pm.  I chose this veggie wrap.

I ate half and Dane ate the other half after his game.

I got caught in the rain earlier in the afternoon and it was extremely humid in the evening.  I was also fighting a headache all day, so it was a hat and glasses kind of night.

Now, about that weight loss challenge.  It starts on Monday, July 23 and the object is to lose 4% of your weight in 28 days.  It’s $15 to join and the winners will split the pot.  Obviously the more participants – the bigger the pot.  You can sign up and find out all of the details  *here*.  If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at kim [at] livinglaughinglosing [dot] com.

    I love Body Pump. I have a hard time staying motivated when I do weights on my own so a class setting is perfect for me :)

    I am finally less than 10lbs from my WW Goal so I am going to be working on that! I am hoping for motivation so I will be cheering and following the weight loss challenge ! Good Luck Kim!
