Father’s Day

Good Morning. I hope you all had a great Father’s Day! We had a beautiful day with no rain..finally! My sister’s and I took our dad out for lunch at a place called North Turn, located right on the beach. We were lucky enough to score a table on the deck in the shade.

It’s a casual place where most people are in beach attire. You know, the kind where you can just put your feet up on the table.

Grandpa was attempting to teach Sam Patty Cake. She loves clapping.

I think she was still pooped from yesterdays birthday festivities but she was a trooper.

I ordered the fish tacos for lunch and they were really good.

And of course some sweet potato fries. Crunchy on the outside soft in the middle, just how I like ‘em.

The ocean looked beautiful today and there were a lot of people soakin’ up the sun.

On the way home, I sat in the back with Sam. She saw me drinking water out of my cup and tried grabbing for it. I handed it to her and she drank out of the straw like a big girl. Every time I tried to take it back, she would push my hand away.
