Sam’s 1st Birthday

Today was my niece Samantha’s 1st Birthday. Unbelievable how fast time goes by. I didn’t take a lot of pictures because my sister’s boyfriend was taking a ton with a really nice camera. Once he posts them on Flickr, I will share some of them.

These are the gifts from Dane and me.

My sister’s fiance did an awesome job making improvements to their home over the last few months to get ready for the party today.

I fell in love with these flower beds that he made himself.

He also built this beautiful deck.

Minnie Mouse was the theme for the day. Isn’t this a cute Piñata?

Instead of beating the crap out of it with a stick, you pull the strings in order to get all of the candy out.

My sister made this collage out of pictures from Sam’s 1st year. Such a cute idea.

I didn’t take pictures of any of my food and I didn’t eat healthy. I’m feeling a bit out of control with my eating, so it’s time to reassess the situation and come up with a plan to get back on track.
