Good Morning! Can you believe it’s Friday Eve already? It’s actually Friday/Vacation Eve for me – Dane and I fly out early tomorrow morning. :) I’m excited to get away for a few days and looking forward to our first vacation together!
In February 2011 I got my hair cut short for the first time. My boss recommended a salon near my house, so I made an appointment with the owner. I went in with an open mind not knowing what I really wanted. I knew I wanted to go shorter, because my hair just looked scraggly when it was too long and always ended up in a ponytail. I loved the end result and went back several times for cuts and color.
In November, I moved to Ormond Beach with Dane (an hour south). I decided to try someone local for my last 2 cuts and just ended up feeling eh. She didn’t do a bad job, but she wasn’t Christine. I wanted to get my hair cut before I went on vacation, so I made an appointment with Christine for today. She just knows what she’s doing and my hair feels so much better! After work I went to my sister’s house to spend some time with her and my niece. I can’t believe she’s going to be a year old in a month! She’s too stinkin’ cute.

She’s not walking just yet but she loves standing up.
And she always crosses her ankles when she sits. So cute!
It’s absolutely amazing how much she’s grown and changed over the last few months.
Breakfast today was Overnight Oats made the usual way but I added a few peanut butter and chocolate chips.
I ate a quick lunch at my desk since my hair appointment was in the afternoon. A turkey wrap from Publix with lettuce, tomato, pickles, black olives and spicy mustard. I ate half before my appointment and the other half after.
I had a sugar free pudding before I left work.
My sister lives right by Dunkin Donuts, so I had to get an Iced Latte Lite on my way to her house.
I got home around 8:00pm and dinner was on the table! Dane is awesome!! He made tacos with the ground chicken I took out of the freezer and we had black beans and rice leftover from the other night.
Workout = FAIL! I didn’t get out of bed in the morning and like I said, I didn’t get home until after 8. I will get something in tonight before I pack for VACATION! :)
My quads are definitely feeling the squats! I ended up doing 140 for the day. What about you?
